Competence saves lives

„Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages“. This Sustainable Development Goal, defined by the United Nations (UN), is our main concern.

Pharmaciens sans Frontières Germany (PSF Germany) is a German relief and development agency supporting people in need worldwide, with a specific focus on providing pharmaceutical and medical aid. PSF Germany engages in disaster relief in the aftermath of natural or man-made disasters and provides long-term development assistance in order to strengthen sustainable health services and structures.

37 pharmacists founded the charity in 2000 and by now more than 1,600 members in Germany and abroad actively support PSF Germany on a voluntary basis. PSF Germany’s overall goal is to strengthen sustainable health services in the Global South. In order to achieve this, we always strive to meet locally identified needs and closely cooperate with local and international partners. Most activities take place in the countries where PSF has on-going projects (such as Argentina, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Tanzania, Philippines, Turkey/Syria and Uganda). Some activities around training, advocacy and projects in Berlin and Mainz are taking place in Germany as well.
