Where are you from and where do you live now?
I am Italian (from Imola, near Bologna). In 2001 and 2002 I lived and worked in Florida, Walt Disney World. I then lived 10 years in NYC, 1 1/2 years in Berlin and I am now in Munich, Germany.
-
How would you describe your photographic style?
I love clean lines (the Berlin U-Bahn is an example), geometry, colors mixed together in a stylish way. Basically whatever catches my eye on the streets (and off the streets).
-
What’s on top of your bucket list (as an artist or just as a person)?
Artistically, I would like to keep photographing the German U-Bahn stations. I am now posting my third city and the fourth is coming up over the summer. I would love to move on then to other European cities (or even far beyond Europe). As a person, I am honestly just trying to be happy, find a peaceful situation in life and be able to express my creativity.
-
Analog or digital?
Digital. I use mostly my iPhone 6 - soon iPhone 8.
-
New York or remote mountain hut?
Well, I do LOVE NYC but after living in the city for over 10 years, I am happy now to choose the mountain hut.
-
Becks or Merlot?
That’s difficult. Most nights I prefer a beer over wine.
-
And a little Proust: What is your idea of perfect happiness?
My idea of perfect happiness changed drastically over the years. Now I am literally dreaming of a little house in the mountains, a family and the possibility to be creative every single day.
-
Which living person do you most admire?
Recently, I have to say, I was profoundly impressed by Nico Rosberg. After winning the F1 World Championship he decided to end his career and be a family man. Lots of people said that it was an easy choice, but I do not think so. I really admire him for finding and following what he wanted in life.
-
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
I thought about this one for a while. I believe that for every virtue, there are so many faces and so many uses that I find it difficult (impossible) to pinpoint one (at least right this moment).
-
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
For "who", I will have to go with my fiancé :) The "what" used to be music for the past 40 years. Now the greatest love of my life is life itself and all the moments I can spend with all the people I care about or doing what I love most (too philosophical, I know).
-
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
I think I would love to come back as a house cat. In fact, I already act like one sometimes.
-
The world needs more…
peace & love - honestly, that is all that's needed.
-
I’ve changed my mind about…
work! Working your ass off is not what we came to life for. We are supposed to have time for ourselves, have time for family. I believe in PART-TIME now.

What most people don't understand is that...
the time we have is very limited.
