Find out more about Renee Del Missier
Renée Del Missier - Portraits, Advertising, Documentary. Renée likes to portray peoples' positive characteristics and although she photographs her subjects within their own environment, she is careful to eliminate any unnecessary clutter from the scene. The resulting images and their meaning are therefore clear and direct.
Renée's approach to a photo-shooting involves humour and light-heartedness and her subjects are always at ease. She is interested in the personality of the people she photographs and makes sure that she visually represents this in an authentic manner. When shooting Reportage, Renée is a subscriber to the "decisive moment" school of photography. She manages to trigger the shutter at exactly the right time to freeze the scene's most provocative and emotional instance.
Renée has been a freelance photographer since completing her education in 2004. Editorial clients include the magazines Falstaff and Jewel whilst commercial clients include OMV, Loewe and Unger Steel. For the campaign "Position: against violence!" she photographed Christina Stürmer, Chris Lohner, Klaus Eberhartinger and others. Event photography experience has involved photographing the opening of Vienna's Gucci store. She has also photographed in London where she worked with well known photographers.
For each art print you buy, Renee Del Missier and Photocircle plant trees in Ethiopia.
